About Giants of Generosity
Giants of Generosity, founded by CEO/Executive Director D. Jane Albanese in 2007, is a registered 501(C)3 organization based in Cresskill, NJ, whose mission is to provide emergency-relief funding to people experiencing critical, life-altering situations. It provides financial assistance, connections to vital area resources, moral support, and hope for the future. After Hurricane Sandy’s devastation, 400 families in the Rockaways were helped with the aid of the Robin Hood Foundation, the Religious Action for Reform Judaism, KidCare, and Michael Bolton Charities. Giants of Generosity worked in conjunction with Friends of Rockaway, a volunteer organization that was on the ground helping people rebuild their lives. On November 18, 2014 we completed our second annual Champions of Rockaway fundraiser hosted by Scarlett Johansson, with an intimate performance by Award-winning actor/singer Jamie Foxx. An additional $76,000 was raised to help Hurricane Sandy victims. Giants of Generosity, which is wholly supported by donations from people like you, corporate sponsorships and grants, has helped more than 510 families and individuals to date.
