Celebrating Pi Day with Wholly Wholesome

*Disclosure: Party of 5 received samples in order to bring you this review. All opinions are my own.*

We've had some changes in our diets at the Party of 5 house recently and I was excited to be able to try out Wholly Wholesome's gluten free Pie Shells just in time for Pi Day on 3.14!

Our daughter has had tons of issues with her tummy so eliminating gluten from her ( and our ) diets has recently started.

I found the Gluten Free Pie Shells at my local health food store.

This family loves peanut butter so I came up with a Gluten Free Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie.

Here's a list of ingredients you will need

Wholly Wholesome Gluten Free Pie Shell
1 cup Natural Peanut Butter
1tbsp Vanilla Extract
3 tbsp Almond Milk
3 Ripe Bananas ( you could also just use 2 if you don't want too much banana taste)
1/3c chocolate Chips ( I used Enjoy Life mini chips )

This pie is super easy and really delicious.

Preheat your oven to 375
Place a metal collar over the edges of the pie crust
Bake for about 8 minutes

While that is baking place all of your ingredients in your mixer or food processor until nice and smooth

Once the pie crust is baked spoon in your filling and smooth it out with the back of your spoon.
Top with additional chocolate chips.

You can either put the pie in the freezer or refrigerator for about 4-5 hours until set.

Serve with gluten free whipped topping or just plain!

See  how simple that was?!

My family enjoyed the pie and we all were surprised that we couldn't taste a difference in the pie crust!

Do you have a special recipe you are going to whip up for Pi Day on 3.14?
